Maharal

2. července 2007 v 12:34 | Hate |  Projekty
Naše milá třídní už ke konci roku asi nevěděla, jak nám ještě uškodit, tak si vymyslela tuhletu zákeřnost. Vzala nás mírumilovně do kina a druhý den nám - už ne tak mírumilovně - oznámila, že o tom teď máme anglicky napsat novou slohovou práci.
No fuj.
Tak mi nezbývá než poděkovat Vergiliovi (:-*), že mi s tím pomohl, takže jsem nakonec dostala alespoň tu dva minus... Protože jinak mohlo být mnohem hůř *JKG*

I was in the cinema last week. There was screened a beautiful film with many interesting incidents, characters and places. This film is called Maharal.
When the film started, we saw an old dying man - the alchemist Raabi Löw. Before he died, he had given his partners his life work, a talisman. If you put its two halves together, you may find a huge treasure.
Than we flew hundred years forth and than saw a strange man. He had some book in old cover and he was fated by Gestapo. He was heavy wounded, but before he died, he had given this book to the small girl Stella. She had to hand it over to her father.
And we flew once more. We appeared in an antiquarian bookshop in Prague. A lecturer of history, Kristýna, with her twelve years old sister Alena found there this book, Via Lucis (The way of the light), and knew, it was something extraordinary. But an old antiquarian didn't want to sell it them and that night was killed. And the book was gone.
A police started to examine this cause - and many fanatic historians and adventurers were interested in it. For instance: Kristýna's slovak fellow Martin Šimko and american seeker of treasure Aaron Cohen with his grandson David. Could anyone of them be a murderer? Everyone wanted to find the book and a legendary trove…
Alena, David and his small friend Ondra were curios and started to rake about it themselves. They went to the Zvíkov castle and tried to find anything suspicious. When they went back, someone had stolen a painting with Raabi Löw. To Zvíkov arrived Aaron with Kristýna and Mr. Šimko and tried to help to investigate this cause. Who is the thief?
Kristýna, who had the first half of the talisman, found out, that the second part had Martin Šimko. They put them together, but it was immediately stolen by Ondra. Children tried to find where the treasure was, but the drainage perhaps wasn't a good idea.
They - together with adults - turned with the plan and then finally could see the right way thanks to light outwards the synagogue, where they were. The treasure was in the unobtrusive doors near the Charles Bridge!
Adults went into the dark corridor alone, but children didn't want to do nothing and secretly went through behind them. It was very dangerous, because there was a flood in Prague, in corridor was cold and wet and the bridge might tumble. But they went bravely onwards and than discovered an old Jude graveyard.
There was a way to secret chamber near the graveyard. They revealed it and appeared into a dark hall. A small girl, a daughter of castellan from Zvíkov, discovered a strange thing… a philosopher's stone! It was unbelievable… But at this moment, the old Kristýna's colleague from university betrayed them and tried to steal this miracle.
But Ondra inadvertently revived the Golem, a guard of the treasure. Into the hall started to penetrate water. The stone smashed, because the girl dropped it on floor and decamped out with the others.
At the end, they happily get to save. I think, it might be a good holiday…
